By using Ahoy! ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. It's that simple.

2. The Service

Ahoy! is a free, browser-based party game. We provide it "as is" for entertainment purposes. Features may change, games may be updated, and occasionally things might break. We'll do our best to keep everything running smoothly.

3. User Conduct

When playing Ahoy!, you agree not to:

Use offensive, discriminatory, or harassing nicknames or content
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the Service
Use automated tools or bots to play
Exploit bugs (please report them instead!)
Do anything illegal

We reserve the right to terminate access to anyone who violates these guidelines.

4. Content

Ahoy! contains humorous content intended for players aged 15+. The game may include:

Mildly suggestive themes
Light crude humour
Playful roasting and banter

Player-generated content (nicknames, answers) is the responsibility of the players. We don't pre-screen this content but may take action against reported abuse.

5. Intellectual Property

Ahoy!, its games, graphics, and content are owned by us. You're welcome to stream, record, or share gameplay — we encourage it! Just don't copy or redistribute the game itself.

6. No Warranty

Ahoy! is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

The Service will be available 24/7
The Service will be error-free
Your game progress will be saved (it won't — each game is ephemeral)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ahoy!. It's a free party game — keep expectations proportional.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
